Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and ShuttlePilot ("we", "us"), operated from Denmark. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. They are written to be read — if anything is unclear, ask us through the in-app Feedback form.
What ShuttlePilot is
ShuttlePilot helps badminton clubs run their club nights: scheduling sessions, checking players in, generating balanced matches, recording results, and tracking skill ratings (ELO). Ratings exist to keep games fun and fair — they are not an official ranking of any federation.
Your account
You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. You must be able to enter into this agreement, or use the service with a parent's or guardian's consent.
Beta and pricing
ShuttlePilot is free while in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we improve the service. If we ever introduce paid plans, we will give existing clubs clear notice first — nothing will silently start costing money. The public demo club may be reset at any time.
Your data and your responsibilities
- Your club's data belongs to your club. You give us permission to store and process it purely to run the service (see the Privacy Policy).
- Organizers who add players to a roster confirm they have those players' permission to enter their details.
- Don't use the service to store unlawful or offensive content, harass others, attempt to break in or disrupt the service, or overload it with automated traffic.
- Exports (CSV/XLSX) are available — we encourage clubs to keep their own copies of important records.
Availability and warranty
ShuttlePilot is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but as a free beta service we cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that data will never be lost. Please keep exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of a free beta service — such as lost data, lost time, or disputes over match results or ratings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending things
You can stop using ShuttlePilot at any time, and club admins can delete their club — which permanently removes its players, sessions, matches, and rating history. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or endanger the service, and we may discontinue the beta with reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update this page and note it in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. If you use ShuttlePilot as a consumer in another country, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence are unaffected by this choice.
